oh the mondays.  after the weekend, mondays are our recuperation days: getting back on the schedule, sleeping in late, and figuring out how productive this week can be (well at least we try).  how was your mother's day?  mother's day started on saturday for us with my aunt making a surprise visit from Texas and into sunday with a great "luau themed" celebration at church.  this week will for sure be a school-heavy week filled with drafts and case-studies (fun), but i hope i can also take advantage of all the sunny rays and great weather here in Chicago.

it's the start of the week again and i thought i'd post on the tiny, but beautiful somethings that i've found this past weekend:  i found that DVF plaid button up at a local thrift store for five bucks like eons ago (i reunited with it again after unpacking old boxes).  that jewelry box belonged to my dear grandmother who passed away about 2 years ago, she loved little trinkets.  one of my daughters has been acting like an owl lately and sleeping late so that means mama also gets no sleep, and one night i caught this moon-glow peeking through our living room window.  and lastly, i found this little one snuggled up on the couch after she ate a hefty lunch.

hi! this is a bit of my daily via Instagram.  i never signed up for it till now, i know i know, only for the fact that i know how addicting it could be..i mean i'm addicted to Pinterest...so now i've been drawn into the Instagram craze.  the flowers above are my fave this week,  my husband surprised me with them yesterday along with a cute teddy bear.  it really put a smile on my face, it's been a rough month with my grad. class and it really is such a loving and sweet gesture.  even looking at these pics, makes me realize to walk away from my classes and take a breather to look at all the blessings surrounding me and that i'm living in, thank you God.
