♥ happy tuesday.
there are some really great projects and ideas around the web, especially on blogs! with the warm weather coming closer the web is a great place for ideas for parties, weddings, special occassions... here are some of my faves:
oh Gorman, you always seem to make my eyes "sigh" in awe and loveliness, especially with your i've so missed this space. sorry for all the quiet around here lately, i've been helping oversee a renovation at my parents' home for the past week. there was no internet or cable tv available so i wasn't able to visit and post....so, so sorry, friends!
but hopefully i can post a few lovelies this week before Thanksgiving hits (i can't even believe Thanksgiving is here!).
here are some pretty things that i'm thankful for (or rather wishing to have !)
this is a follow up post to my fall wardrobe // essentials. i reviewed the post with the essentials and i realized it's a bit lengthy, but i still feel strongly that each piece can take your wardrobe so far in styling and be a great base for layering trends and classics. remember, the essentials is something to be built overtime so that your wardrobe from each season will be ready to wear.
below is a few of the add-ons you can layer on the fall wardrobe essentials. of course there are so many add-ons of prints, patterns, textures, but that would be one long post! so i picked a few of the things that i would add-on to my wardrobe. use your unique style to pop an outfit, or switch up your nail polish to to complete your look. whatever the case, have fun dressing up...
getting a new issue of the Anthropologie catalogue in the mail is a great sit down read for me. seriously. i'll sit on the couch (when kiddos are napping) and look at each page, like a lil' kid. and i love it. i love the new November issue of Anthropologie. so much texture, color, pattern....and they have adorable items for kids too! these are just a 'few' of the things i'm swooning for....
if you haven't visited the blog of Erin Hagstrom, calivintage, (she also writes for the adored ModCloth) you're missing out on the best and original styling around when it comes to outfits. she interweaves vintage and modern so well and i was so excited when the feast did an interview with her and taking a peek into her closet.
so yes, calivintage is my first closet crush.
enjoy.
