IN MY BAG.

i love seeing posts of blogger's bag belongings..you get to see what other's hold onto, their likes and new products you may have never seen.  a woman's bag is an important thing, i think.  well to me, my bag carries everything, and i feel sorta naked if i don't have it.  above is my Madewell leather transport tote...which i love.  it carries so much stuff (especially if you're an over-packer like me) and it goes with every outfit.  it's a great everyday bag, and you can't go wrong with leather. 


i like to carry stuff i actually need (either at that moment or for future circumstances)  i am a self-confessed over-packer ( you should see my kids' diaper bag).  i just feel that i might need something for emergency sake and i always want to be ready.  i actually had more stuff than what's pictured but they were kinda basics:  travel size first-aid kit, tylenol, anti-bacterial, gum, etc.  the one's below are my favorites nesting within my tote...
carrying around a notebook (this one came in a pack of three from Target) is a great way to write down inspiration, ideas, an impromptu grocery list, or a daily journal.  the size of this one is as big as an index card so it's a great on-the-go piece.  i LOVE my Baggu bags.  i ordered a bunch last month and it's one of the best buys i've  made in a long time.  the ones i have are the big Baggu and the regular Baggu in blush stripe color.  the big bag comes in handy for shopping trips to Target. 


my Rosebud Salve is great for my lips, dry hands and even sometimes scars. i got this Shi Shu Baby mini blanket from Gilt awhile back and it's the softest thing around.  it comes in handy for wiping up tears or a runny nose and washes up great.  having a good read is essential, especially at doctor's appointments, so i carry around a magazine (if i don't feel like toting around my iPad). 

the DIY satchlet i made awhile ago really comes in handy for little things:  my fave lip gloss/tint Baby Lips by Maybeline in cherry me, Rosebud salve, Airborne (i swear by this, it helps get rid of a cold quick) and some pretty kleenex (from Michael's).
