hey there, sorry for the MIA status of lately, just needed to get things in order and get back on track. it's school time again for me i needed to get my school on my priorities again. wow, has it really been almost 3 weeks of my not blogging?! so much going on this summer that it's hard to even get a nap in.
last week was our VBS week at church (vacation bible school) and it was a blast (exhausting) and such a blessing to see all the kids be encouraged and empowered by God's word. The theme for this year was HERO Headquarters: God is our Hero! Shi was hesitant most of the time to worship in front of so many kids (over 50 kids participated!), but as soon as we'd get home from VBS she'd be singing and dancing to the worship songs we heard and recite the bible point of the day. it really is a blessing to see that kids do have the power to change the world with the help of God in their lives.
okay so i'm going to try to post consistently again, and probably most of the posts will be on jae's upcoming 1st birthday....decorations, food menu, crafting, diy....honestly i'm pretty excited to be throwing a party...i am kinda addicted to the fine tuning of details, the putting together of themes and sets....even the stress of it all is an addiction...so hope to be back soon with a party details post.
