a good 'ol mixtape always put a smile on my face.
i probably just reaffirmed my coming age by reminiscing on the vanishing mixtape. yes, i was one of "those" who stood by my radio at 11pm waiting for the right songs to collect on my cassette tape : record, pause, rewind -(repeat). only few people know that i've always wanted to learn how to d.j. (when i first saw lady lisa p on turntables i was amazed.....hahahahha...) and....thank you heather for buying "DJ HERO" to fulfill those turntable cravings .
obviously i can't fulfill my dreams of being "dj sha" (nice ring to it, huh?) but i can keep the mixtape alive.
nothing too serious, just songs that make me smile. the gloomy clouds have cleared from the past few days to make this friday enjoyable....hope you like the mix...hope you make or dig up those old mixtapes too!
